New song from Mario called Boom In It featuring Brandy. This song is one of the many recorded for his upcoming album And Then There Was Me slated for a September ‘09 release. No word yet if this will appear on the official tracklisting

Jeremih recently has an album release party celebrate his first album which is self-titled. The album is a great album that features 13 great songs written by Jeremih himself and produced by Mick Schultz. The party featured Def Jam partners Electrik Red who also performed for the crowd. “To go independent is — like I said in a prior interview — it’s a funny term,” Drake told MTV News on Tuesday, addressing the deal that finds his albums being released on Wayne’s independent Young Money label (which is affiliated with Cash Money Records) and being distributed by the major Universal Republic. “Because it’s almost impossible to go fully independent. This was basically like the closest thing I could get to my own independence, to sort of continuing to be that guy to the fans that, you know, is trying to prove something — trying to prove that it can be done. So with that being said, I signed directly to Cortez Bryant and Gee Roberson, my two managers, and their company Inspire. It’s a joint venture with Young Money, so that’s the deal. I know there’s been a lot of stuff on the Internet about different entities, but that’s the people involved in the main record deal. And then it’s distributed through Universal, so it’s great, man. You know, if we can sell some records I think it could be a pretty legendary situation.”
Although Drake decided to stay with his managers (who also manage Lil Wayne), he said he loved the courting process. “Well, the whole thing with me was, I met some great people along the way. [Warner Music's] Lyor Cohen is such a special man to me, even though I am signed where I am signed at. You know, [Interscope head] Jimmy Iovine, same thing, a great person that taught me a lot in a very short period of time. But my loyalty lays with Wayne. For him to be able to benefit from the situation and for us to be able to brand Young Money, this is the route that I went.

UPDATE: The tweets from Soulja Boy can be found after the jump…
Earlier last night, Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em had a breakdown point on Twitter. He hadn’t updated his twitter for a few hours and hit many of his 900,000+ followers with some unexpected tweets. Unfortunately he removed the tweets from his timeline, but mainly talked about how he’s done with haters, white people talking trash, and how he’s only 18 and can’t take all of the drama being put on him. He stated that what he once thought was a dream, having the hip-hop career, is no longer a dream and wants to go back to the moments before he signed the contract. Soulja Boy even took it as far as to say “Fuck y’all” which was geared towards everyone, including fans. The multiple tweets he posted with the message were deleted about an hour later and a half later.
Truthfully, I think we should all cut him some slack. Although I don’t necessarily commend him for everything he does, I still respect him as a person and I respect his hustle at such a young age. He made claims of talking to singer and actor Tyrese, who gave him words of wisdom and strong advice. From everyone here at Street Anthem, we wish Soulja Boy the best in anything he does and hope he can get everything back in line and continue making music for his fans. Get better Soulja Boy! Hit the jump to see what both Teyana Taylor and Tyrese had to say about this whole ordeal via Twitter.
